Regional, national and local — the mandates I currently hold, and how they connect.

October 2025 – Present
Elected unopposed as Chair, having served as Deputy Chair from 2022–2025 under Craig Pauling. ECan is New Zealand's largest regional council by area — 45,346 km², over 650,000 residents — responsible for freshwater, biodiversity, biosecurity, air quality, public transport and natural hazard management.
November 2025 – Present
Te Uru Kahika represents New Zealand's regional and unitary councils collectively — the water, biodiversity, biosecurity and hazard-management arm of local government. As Regional Sector Chair I represent this group nationally, including within LGNZ, at a time when local government reorganisation, freshwater reform and the future shape of regional councils are all under active government review.

2019 – Present (also 2016–2019, Central Ward)
Representing West Ward residents on urban development, infrastructure investment and community resilience, following an earlier term representing Central Ward through the immediate post-earthquake years.
Founder & Principal (2018–present). Strategic advisory on governance, communications and sustainable development.
Accredited to sit on resource consent hearings and plan change decisions.
Avon-Ōtākaro Network, Keep Christchurch Beautiful, LGNZ engagement.
