Christchurch City Council Electoral Officer Jo Daly has today declared the final results of the by-election held on 17 February 2024.

Jillian Frater

The final results show:

  • Jillian Frater received 1003 votes
  • Vicki Tahau-Paton received 344 votes

The voter return was 51.8 percent.

Ms Daly says the voter turnout numbers indicates the high level of community engagement in the Lyttelton community.

“Community Boards represent and advocate for interests in their area and make decisions on behalf of the communities they represent. It is good to see electors taking this opportunity to vote and have their say on who represents them on the Board.”

More information about the by-election can be found on the  Christchurch City Council website here.
