Ring in the New Year at the biggest party in town

Posted on December 7, 2022 by CCC

Join the countdown to 2023 at Hagley Park this New Year’s Eve.

The free NYE22 event gets underway at 6pm with food trucks and family-friendly entertainment, and concludes with a massive midnight fireworks display.

Local performers 1 Drop Nation, covers band Black & Gold, and rising star Sam Heselwood are taking the stage ahead of headline act Dragon.

The NZ Music Hall of Fame inductees are famous for smash hits like April Sun in Cuba, Are You Old Enough?, and Rain.

Dragon fans are in for a special treat, with an opportunity to meet and greet the rock legends and attend sound check.

Check out the Council’s What’s On Facebook or Instagram post to enter. Be in quick, entries close 12 December.
