Have your say: New park on Coutts Island Road

We are planning on developing 10 hectares of land on Coutts Island Road into a new parkland area, and is seeking community input to ensure that the new park will be used and enjoyed by the public.

This site is located alongside the Waimakariri River, approximately 2 kilometres upstream from the SH1 Bridge, and was previously used as a gravel storage area.

Have your say

Visit our Have Your Say page to let us know what you’d like to see in the new park, provide us with feedback about the area, or ask us questions.

Whether it’s installing new picnic tables, developing new walking tracks, or native planting – we want to hear from you.

You can learn about what our other parks have to offer by going to our Regional Parks page, where you will also find up-to-date public notices with useful information.
