Senior lecturer Dr Ed Challis contributed to opinion piece on Stuff about the Our Land and Water National Science Challenge project ‘New Models of Collective Responsibility – Te Whakakotahitanga mō te Taiao’. The article describes a co-ordinated approach that links adjacent farm plans and focuses on outcomes will help heal NZ waterways.

Healthy waterways

A ‘’Good Management Practice’’ approach ”doesn’t reflect the complexities of varied soils, weather, land use and farming practices that ultimately determine the health of waterways”.
