Passionate surrogacy researcher and campaigner UC Law Associate Professor Debra Wilson expresses her excitement in RNZ article now that surrogacy law is on the Law Commission’s work programme.

“Every time you read a surrogacy judgement in the family court, the judges say the law is really out of date, it needs changing,” says Associate Professor Wilson.

Associate Professor Wilson also recently talked to to RNZ about the difficulties of surrogacy and how streamlining the process is good for new parents and babies. Read the article here.
