However, there is still a lot of surface flooding across the city and Banks Peninsula. There are also a number of slips, particularly in Banks Peninsula, and staff and contractors are out assessing these.

There are still a number of road closures in place, especially around our rivers and in low lying areas. The situation can change quickly, so signs may remain in place even though the water levels may seem to be subsiding. Please drive to the conditions and follow all signage.
